Does it really work?
Will I be awake, aware or asleep?
Will I be out of control, can you ask me to do anything I don’t want to?
How will I feel during and after the session?
Clients generally feel comfortable and relaxed during the sessions. There is nothing to be frightened of as it’s a completely natural state of calmness. Sometimes, scenes may be emotional, but you are not reliving anything, merely reviewing them with the support of Vicky.
Clients react in different ways following the session, depending on what comes up and what was being worked on. Change is retroactive, subtle and is not always ‘instant’. However, some clients leave feeling euphoric and some leave feeling a sense of reflection or wonder. Either way, the effect takes time to ‘soak in’ as you continue to discover more about yourself and as you listen to your (21 days) post-session recording. That is the part of the therapy that you have to own and do. Irrespective of how you feel, there will be post-session follow up and you will be able to make contact and talk.
What happens if I can’t be hypnotised?
Everyone can be hypnotised because it’s a natural state, so you don’t need to worry. This is about team-work and for sessions to be really successful, it helps that clients want to participate and make the change. So, as long as you wish to enter hypnosis, you will. So just relax and enjoy the experience. A pre-session recording is also available to reassure you, should you need it.
Are the sessions confidential?
There is a confidentiality policy in place. All clients are assured of confidentiality about any disclosed material, in accordance with professional codes of conduct. Safeguarding policies are also in place for the protection of children and vulnerable adults. Only in cases where clients’ welfare are deemed “at risk” might it be necessary to contact the relevant authorities and usually with consent of the client. However, in normal cases, client confidentiality is upheld, files are stored appropriately and destroyed according to the appropriate laws.

Are the online sessions as effective as face-to-face?
How will I know whether I need more than one session?
Rapid Specialist Hypnotherapy gives us access to the root cause of the belief system sitting behind the symptoms. In effect the presenting issues are often symptomatic of an underlying issue. Once we find the issue or the belief, it’s relatively easy to release them and change the belief to something more beneficial. Generally it will take one session per issue. Sometimes, for longer term issues, clients benefit from two or a maximum three sessions, such as long-term depression or anxiety.
What if I find something I don’t want to talk about?
Does Rapid Specialist Hypnotherapy involve regression?
Rapid Specialist Hypnotherapy includes regressions back to scenes, as it is helps us to locate the root cause or belief, sitting behind an issue. Regression is not about re-living the experience, it’s about reviewing and observing a scene, so we can make sense of the significance, relevance and meaning attributed to it. Some scenes may bring up sadness, upset or joy, but whatever happens, as the adult, you will feel completely safe as you observe.
What age range do you work with?
This type of therapy is very effective for all age ranges, adults and children alike. The appropriate DBS checks are in place and children under 18 can be considered on a case-by-case basis, although it should be noted that a client’s prioritised ‘issue’ may sometimes differ from the adult (often the parent).
Where are you based?
Is Rapid Specialist Hypnotherapy as effective online?
Yes, Rapod Specialist Hypnotherapy is equally effective online, using Skype/Zoom. A virtual clinic might sound strange, but clients are often more relaxed at home and are often time-starved. Wherever there is internet we can hold a session and the outcomes are equally as deep-seated and profound. I have worked with people all over the UK, as well as all over the world, but specialist hypnotherapy never fails.
How many sessions will I need?
Most traditional hypnotherapy will take between 6-12 sessions to reach a desired outcome (usually costing between £1,080-£1,620). Many talking therapies will take considerably longer, with clients reporting periods anywhere between 12 weeks and 6 years (£780-£17,500). With Rapid Specialist Hypnotherapy, most clients see results after their first session, although some deep-seated issues, such as long-term depression, may take up to 2 or maximum 3 sessions. Typically, clients return to work on new areas to improve their lives, such as attracting wealth, relationships, self-esteem etc. Once we release what’s holding us back, things just get better and better!
